Seann William Scott (aka, Stifler from American Pie) Is Engaged--Unsurprisingly, to Victoria's Secret Model! For Some Reason, I Find This News Creepy.

I know I shouldn't confuse an actor with a role he plays, but Seann William Scott will always be Stifler to me. Which is why I was totally creeped out when I heard Seann William Scott/Stifler is engaged. The fact that he's marrying former Victoria's Secret model Lindsay Frimodt further blurs the Seann/Stifler line. I mean, of COURSE Stifler is marrying this girl.

So yeah, Life & Style reported last week that Seann/Stifler proposed on Valentine's Day. And E! confirmed the news on the red carpet at the Hollywood premiere of American Reunion last night, where Seann/Stifler told E! News, "I don't know how I got a girl like my fiancee." We don't know either, Stifler.

Weirdly, Wikipedia (which I know isn't the most accurate source!) reports that Lindsay is currently married to a "billionaire business man," who she allegedly tied the knot with in June 2010. **scratches head**

Thoughts on Seann/Stifler and Lindsay's engagement? Is anyone else weirded out by it?!

he Budget Savvy Bride: A Crazy-Cute (Crazy-Cheap!) Way To Dress Up the Bar at Your Wedding! (It's Also Great for Bridal Showers!)

Of course you don't HAVE to dress up the bar at your wedding. Your guests are there to get a drink, not consider a floral arrangement. But if you'd like to add an extra shot (<- ha! get it?) of pretty at the bar, consider this insanely easy DIY project from The Budget Savvy Bride.

Buy inexpensive wine (she went with "Two-Buck Chuck" from Trader Joe's!) then dress up the bottles with custom labels and display them on your bar! But don't use regular stick-on paper labels from your regular printer. Remember: Wine bottles tend to get wet (especially if you chill the wine!) and "wet" and "paper" don't generally mix!

Need Some Wedding Hair and Makeup Inspiration? I've Found It! (On a Hunger Games Star!)

I hadn't heard of actress Isabelle Fuhrman before The Hunger Games, but now I'm full-on obsessed. Last week I was raving about the wedding-worthy dress she wore to The Hunger Games premiere, and now I'm gaga for her hair and makeup from The Cinema Society's screening last night!

Let's get a closer look

Her earrings are Blue Nile Diamond Stud Earrings, which are lovely for a bride.

Her face could not be more perfect, from her flicked-out eyeliner to her glossy pink lips. And her chic, swept-up bun? Divine!

But my favorite part is the sparkle-tastic Jennifer Behr barrette, which makes her back-to-basics bun absolutely breathtaking.

Thoughts on Isabelle's hair and makeup? Would you copy this look for your wedding day?

She also has really nice eyebrows. (I TOLD you I'm obsessed!)

The Budget Savvy Bride: This DIY Trick Makes Plain Wedding Invitations Look Super-Duper Fancy!

I don't think it's worth it to spend a ton on your wedding invitations. (Let's face it, 95 percent of them are going to get tossed into the recycling bin.) But it's easy to dress them up without spending a fortune!

An invite that arrives in a lined envelope looks super-duper fancy, but if you do the lining yourself, it'll only cost a few cents per envelope!

How pretty is that envelope? LOVE!

A Huge DON'T That Wedding Photographers Commit! (Make Sure You Ask Yours Not To Do THIS!)

Unless your wedding guests are a bunch of Hollywood fame whores, chances are they DON'T want ...

Your wedding photographer snapping photos two inches from their faces all night!

I asked Rory (who does event photography as part of his job) why some wedding photographers shoot "paparazzi style." His guess: "It's a rookie mistake. Good event photographers need to be able to photograph people without the people realizing they're being shot."

Makes sense. An in-your-face wedding photographer probably isn't going to get the photos you want. Most people just get uncomfortable when there are huge lenses and flashes in their face—and uncomfortable wedding guests DON'T make for pretty photos.

Have you been at a wedding where the photographer was all up in your business?

8 Totally Gorgeous Engagement Rings in Totally WEIRD Scenarios! (On a Lollipop?!) Or, As I Like To Call Them: Rings In Compromising Positions

When I was recently clicking my way around Pinterest in search of pretty engagement rings, I came across some pretty random photos. Wedding rings on barbed wire. Wedding rings on a lollipop stick. Wedding rings on the ear of a stuffed rabbit. Say what?!

On your wedding day, your photographer will probably have some down time and ask you if you want a "portrait" of your rings. If you're into it, she'll find what she deems a fun place to shoot them (on top of a macaroon, over a golf tee) and you'll wind up with a photo that may fit in with the vibe of your wedding (rings on grapes at a winery wedding) but will look totally random if it's not surrounded by other photos of your big day.

Here are eight of my favorite "Rings In Compromising Positions":

WASTE OF A PERFECTLY GOOD TOOTSIE ROLL POP

I'M KNOT SO SURE ABOUT THIS PHOTO

BEING MARRIED TOTALLY ROCKS

DIAMONDS DON'T GROW ON TREES. THEY GROW IN HOUSEPLANTS.

LIKE SANDS THROUGH THE HOURGLASS, SO IS THE END OF OUR SINGLEHOOD

"ORANGE YOU GLAD WE WERE PHOTOGRAPHED ON FRUIT!"

I HOPE SOMEONE PACKED A METAL DETECTOR, JUUUUUUST IN CASE …

Will you get a portrait of your rings? Which of the rings above do you like best?

3 New Beauty Products You MUST Pack For Any Tropical Honeymoon

Overcome by stress while attempting to coordinate your table linens to the bows on your bridesmaid bouquets? Yeah, wedding planning can be that way. So here's a fun distraction that technically qualifies as a wedding-related task (not mere procrastination): Plan which amazing beauty products you're going to buy for your honeymoon! Here are three new-for-spring picks I think would be perfect should you happen to be heading somewhere exotic and warm.

1. Zoya nail polish in Myrta, from the new Beach & Surf collection (click the link to see our post with the rest of the colors). This gorgeous take on the orange-nails trend goes on sale April 1st and has extra honeymoon pedicure pizzazz thanks to the foil finish.

2. Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Natural lipstick in N31/Soft Fuchsia, one of the brand's new-for-spring lipsticks that make bold, poppy colors much easier to wear, even during the day while sipping a margarita. The formula goes on silky and looks bright yet somehow still natural (as the name implies). The fuchsia color is especially gorgeous for a tropical honeymoon; it's the perfect way to compliment your fresh-off-the-beach rosy cheeks.

3. The NP Set All That Glitters Gel Duo in Rio De Janeiro, new for spring at Target. As my fellow blogger Megan pointed out over at Girls in the Beauty Department yesterday, "they're the perfect post-beach, going-out beauty product for your cheekbones, shoulders or decolletage--and they'll only set you back $10 each!"

How many of you are busy planning a honeymoon in a tropical destination? Which of these three new beauty goodies would you most like to have in your suitcase? What other fun beauty stuff are you planning to take along--or will it be mostly about sunscreen and salt-water waves for you?

The Budget Savvy Bride: If You Hand Out These Adorable Favors at Your Wedding, I Might Just Crash It!

I don't know why an itty-bitty jar makes a wedding favor more enticing, it just does!

Case in point: These adorable cupcakes in jars.

These bundles of cuteness are red velvet cupcakes, which I generally don't even like, but I'm pretty sure I'd knock back at least two of the jarred variety. How could you not? Those too-cute wooden spoons!

While she was rounding up different cupcakes in jars, The Budget Savvy Bride also stumbled across ...

...

...

Jarfaits!

(See if you can guess what those are!)

For more wedding favors in jars (including links to how-tos!) visit The Budget Savvy Bride.

Would you give your guests these super-cute favors? Or do you have something else entirely in mind?

If you're going to serve dessert in a jar, feel free to leave the date, time and location of your wedding below—juuuust in case I'm in the neighborhood!

Are Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Engaged?! Miley's Flaunting an Awfully Engagement-y Looking Ring!

Is Miley Cyrus ready to say "I do" to Liam Hemsworth? Her ring finger say yes!

19-year-old Miley had been dating Liam, 22, on and off since 2009. Friday night Miley casually posted a photo of left hand on Twitter along with the tweet: "I am soooo obsessed with @jennahipp nail foundations! It looks so chic and classic!"

Of course she made no mention the monster ring on THAT finger (oh Miley, so coy!) but the super-sparkly accessory joined her on the red carpet last night in Phoenix, when she and Liam attended Muhammad Ali's Celebrity Fight Night XVVIII. And she made a big ol' show of posing with her left hand (and that giant ring) on her hip in pretty much every photo from the event.

Reps for Miley and Liam both offered no comment on the couple's relationship status, which doesn't tell us much. (Snooki's rep denied her engagement until the guidette herself announced it on the cover of Us Weekly.)

Of course this could all be a (successful) ploy for publicity on Miley's part. God knows she doesn't shy away from the spotlight. And a little extra publicity over the opening weekend of The Hunger Games—which Liam appears in—certainly could work in her boyfriend's favor.

Do you think Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are engaged? Do you think that's an engagement ring on her finger? Or do you think she's just messing with us?

19 Photos of Four-Legged Wedding Guests--Including a Hedgehog!--That Are So Fantastically Adorable, Your Computer Might Explode! (And It Will TOTALLY Be Worth It!)

Maybe I spoke too soon when I declared the dog below the cutest four-legged wedding guest EVER—because it turns out there's some pretty intense competition out there!

Here's the original title holder:

But my co-worker Kat thought her flower-hedgehog, Elvis, deserved to be in the running.

And of course there's my own grooms-dog, Bradley Wayne Pajama Brain.

And Petra's flower-dog, Georgia.

The competition got even fiercer (Woof! Meow!) when I fell into the black hole that is Pinterest.
